This project was funded by Fundação Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) in the scope of Apoio Especial Research 4 Covid-19 – FCT.
The study had the goal of depicting the pandemic’s impacts on the social determinants of gender violence in Porto’s most vulnerable parishes. In order for this to be accomplished, a sample of women who were previously involved in gender violence incidents (especially domestic violence) and lived in the parishes mentioned above was analysed.
It was promoted by Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP) and had Joana Topa as a researcher and one of the Head Researchers.
