“Gender Equality over the Lifecourse” (“Igualdade de Género e Idades da Vida: bloqueios e oportunidade”) (2016-2017). This study aimed to address a main question: how are gender relations characterized and structured over the life course (childhood, youth, adulthood), in different contexts and social conditions? The research was focused on Portugal, situating the country in the European context. It mainly involved an empirical research using extensive and intensive methods, drawing from international databases and building new data collection tools. The study focused on the most recent years of the second decade of this century but it also covered previous years in a time span that could be defined as 2000-2015.
Coordinated by Anália Torres, the project team also includes Dália Costa, Paula Pinto, Diana Maciel and Bernardo Coelho.
