Cátia Ponteadeira has a PhD in European Criminology from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP), a Masters in Forensic Science from London South Bank University and a degree in Criminology from the University of Maia. She is a lecturer at the University of Maia (UMaia), the University of Minho (UMinho) and the Porto School of Nursing. She has been a researcher on more than 14 international projects with competitive funding.
