Public Presentation of the BOOMERANG project

On the 18th of January 2022, the Public Presentation of the BOOMERANG Project - Study on immigrant women's and men's perceptions of the impact of the unequal share of unpaid work was held.

This project is promoted by the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa) and is funded by EEA Grants. Its operational entity is the Comission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) and its scientific office is the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (CIEG/ISCSP-ULisboa), and there is a partnership with University of Maia, Universidade Aberta, Associação Plano i, Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa – Delegação de Braga, SOS RACISMO and Odalnaeringshage.

The event was online and its Opening Session included ISCSP-ULisboa's President Ricardo Ramos Pinto, EEAGrants National Focal Point's Coordinator Susana Ramos, and the First-Secretry of the Norway Embassy in Portugal Ellen Aabø. After this, the project was presented by its coordinators Estefânia Silva and Cláudia Casimiro, followed by the intervention of Team Coordinator of the Desigualdades Intersecionis Project Vera Fonseca. The Closing Session included two interventions, one from CIG's President Sandra Ribeiro and one from CIEG's Director Anália Torres.
